To ensure the stability and safety of the door, our Barn Door Hardware Kit includes 2 door stoppers that slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop the door exactly where you want, cushioned by rubber caps for a quiet close. Additionally, a T-shaped floor guide (with anchors) is supplied to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard, and 2 anti-jumpers go on top of the door to prevent it from being lifted off the rail unless they're turned.

A headboard may be needed if the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail, or if there is a doorway trim and the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2 inches. Furthermore, a minimum of 5 inches from the top of the door to the ceiling (or crown molding) is required for this kit to fit correctly.

Our Barn Door Hardware Kit can accommodate a wide range of door thicknesses, from 1 3/8 inches to 1 3/4 inches. If the door is thicker, the bolt heads can be countersunk into the back side of the door, or longer bolts can be obtained from a local hardware store. The spacing needed between the door and the wall (or baseboard/doorway trim) can be adjusted by bolting a header board to the studs and then attaching the rail to this header board.
