Barn Door Hardware Kit for 36 Wide Doors

To ensure the stability and safety of the door, our Barn Door Hardware Kits come equipped with essential features. Two door stoppers slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop the door exactly where desired, with rubber caps for a quiet close. A T-shaped floor guide (with anchors) is supplied to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard. Additionally, two anti-jumpers, or small round discs, go on top of the door and won't allow it to be lifted off the rail unless they're turned.

When it comes to installation, our kits are designed to accommodate various scenarios. If the studs don't align with the pre-drilled holes in the rail, or if there is a doorway trim and the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2 inches, a headboard may be needed. Additionally, a minimum of 5 inches from the top of the door to the ceiling (or crown molding) is required for the kit to fit correctly.

Our Barn Door Hardware Kits can support a wide range of door thicknesses, from 1 3/8 inches to 1 3/4 inches. For thicker doors, the bolts included for attaching the hangers can be countersunk into the back side of the door, or longer bolts can be purchased from a local hardware store. The spacing needed between the door and wall (or baseboard/doorway trim) can be adjusted by bolting a header board to the studs and then mounting the rail to this header board.
