Regarding the header board, if the studs do not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail, a header board is necessary. If there is no trim or baseboard on the wall, a header board is not required. However, if there is trim or baseboard, a header board should be installed. It's important to note that the header board is not included in the package.

Customers are advised to assemble and paint the barn door as soon as possible after unpacking to prevent the wooden door from deforming or cracking due to moisture. If the package received has any damaged or missing parts, customers should contact SmartStandard to arrange a replacement.
