Please note that we do not provide customized size service, and we do not recommend cutting the door to keep normal use. The sizes shown on our product pages are all the sizes we currently offer. If your doorway has trim, it would look better with a wider door, and we recommend leaving 1-2 inches wide on each side.

Regarding the header board, if the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail, you will need a headboard. If there's no trim or baseboard on the wall, you don't need to install the headboard. Otherwise, you need to install it. However, the header board is not included in the package.

It is important to assemble and paint the barn door as soon as possible after unpacking to prevent the wooden door from deforming or cracking due to moisture. If the package you received has any damaged or missing parts, please contact us, and we will arrange a replacement for you.
