Our Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kits are designed to ensure the stability and safety of your door. They come with 2 door stoppers that slide along the rail and tighten down at any point to stop your door exactly where you want, cushioned by rubber caps for a quiet close. Additionally, a T-shaped floor guide (with anchors) is supplied to prevent the door from swinging out or up against the baseboard. Further, 2 anti-jumpers go on top of the door and won't allow it to be lifted off the rail unless they're turned.

You may need a headboard if the studs don't line up with the pre-drilled holes in the rail, or if there is a doorway trim and the "door depth" plus "trim depth" is greater than 2 inches. Also, you will need a minimum of 8 inches from the top of your door to the ceiling (or crown molding) for this kit to fit correctly.

Our hardware kits can accommodate a wide range of door thicknesses, from 1 3/8 inches to 1 3/4 inches. For thicker doors, you can easily navigate this by countersinking the bolt head into the back side of the door, or by picking up longer bolts from your local hardware store. The extra spacing needed between the door and wall (or baseboard/doorway trim) can be achieved by bolting a header board to the studs, and then attaching the rail to this header board.
